Grief Slalom
The onslaught is repentless
From the moment I wake up
Is it the grief
The hormones
Or the trauma?
Am I sad, mad or afraid?
I'm tired
from all the tension
From the crying
From the pain
From the vague vision in front of me
This long and winding road
From all the grief that came before
And that which will follow
I think
I’ll just keep sleeping.
